Thriller Flash Mob - October 13th

Join us Saturday, October 13th at Jungle Friends primate sanctuary for Monkey Day!  We'll be doing a flash mob of our routine to Thriller.  The event starts at 1:00pm with a welcome talk and guest speakers. After this (about 2:00pm), our music will begin to play and we will "zombie-drag" ourselves from wherever we are to the grassy area next to the main tent and do the dance.  Laura, Alie, and Betsy will be there to help lead GHF members and Jungle Friends staff.  Feel free to wear your normal exercise attire from class or something cool, definitely tennis shoes, it will be hot!

Please RSVP to RSVP@junglefriends.org so they can idea of how many of us are coming, and grab a ticket in class this week if you can. To get in FREE use the ticket or just tell them you're one of the dancers! They will have a food truck there as well, plus tours of the monkey enclosures and activities for kids. For more info on Jungle Friends, check out www.junglefriends.org and we'll see you there!

Directions: The main address for Jungle Friends is 13915 North State Road 121, so aim for that, then they'll be directing us to go slightly north past this address and turn right on NW 142nd Avenue, then turn right again to come in the back of the property where there is room to park and the tent is set up.

* New * Thank you to everyone that came out for Monkey Day! It was a success! Those of us that stayed also got to tour the medical facility and the enclosures. We saw Cotton-top Tamarins, Capuchins, and Squirrel Monkeys close-up, it was wonderful. Thank you Kari Bagnall for sharing this with us!
